Happy Birthday Abby!

This is Abby's good friend posting. =) She never mentioned that she turned 21!! So we decided to post a few pictures from her birthday. We always have so much fun with Abby!! It's hard to believe she's really 21 ~ she's such a kid at heart. One of her favorite quotes is - "We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing." ~ George Bernard

We went to Tabitha's school to get our nails done.

She did a wonderful job!
We decorated the car for Abby's birthday.

We forgot we wrote "honk"

on the car and wonderered why

everyone kept honking at us! :)

This is for you 29 =)

She ate with chopsticks in memory of her good friend Wong :)
We found a huge mound of snow, so we had fun making a snowman and having snowball fights.

Jeremy serenaded Abby in the moonlight :)

We all went and played tennis

She taught us all she knows... she's a pro!

After tennis we all sat (or rolled:) on the hill and watched a bunch of people play kickball.

Happy Birthday Abby! Thanks for being crazy with us! We love you!

Music Therapy Workshop

Saturday I went to a music therapy workshop at school. It was really awesome! I learned a lot and had fun as well:-) Here are some pictures from the day...

Alan Turry- he was amazing!Improvising a duet with KellyThis was a lot of fun, at the end of the day we all got an instrument and played a song. Everyone played their own thing but we had someone who conducted and told us when to play or what dynamics to use.

Ladies Retreat

This weekend Mom, Phoebe, and I went to Hillsdale with Faithway for their ladies retreat. Since Grandma lives nearby we asked her to come with us. It was fun to be able to spend the weekend with her:-) It was also nice to relax! Mrs. Lynne Wiggins was the speaker and theme was on our relationships with others; it was really good!
When we were unloading I mentioned that it looked like we were staying forever, Phoebe said she packed "light" I'd hate to see what packing "heavy" would look like:-)
When we got to the door this fuzzy guy was on the door... Phebes would have nothing to do with it so I had to show her that animals are our friends.
Mrs. Patterson brought door prize for one person in every cabin. Of course, you can't go wrong with jewelry:-)
Friday Night after the session Mrs. Patterson had a jewelry station set up where you could make whatever you wanted. It was a lot of fun to see what everyone created:-)
It was so funny, when they opened the doors for dinner and there was a lady standing there with this sign...
When there were too many people in line she switched it to this...
Whole group

My Friend

Tonight while we were at McDonalds someone had a bouncy ball so Simon rolled it on the ground and shouted "mouse, mouse" at the same time my Mom shouted "look theres a mouse!" Jo and Tab thought they were being serious so they both jumped away from the table and shouted "where?!" when they realized it was a joke we all had a good laugh. It was so funny that I said I wished I had recorded it; we decided we should redo the whole thing and catch it on video. This video is after Tab knew it was a joke however her response was definetly not fake! Enjoy:-)

Before the night was over we decided we would try one more time...

It was a great night:-)

Nursery and Going away Party

Tonight I was in the 7-9 year olds class, we talked about being happy no matter what our circumstances were and then we decorated cookies on a stick with happy faces to help us remember to always be happy no matter what trials come into our lives.
The moon was beautiful so I had to have the kids take a picture running towards it:-)
Decorating the cookies...
Baileigh with her happy face
Trying out the sour gummy worm
The finished product! They all did a great job
Hannah and Allie were great helpers:-)
Mary is leaving for college tomorrow so she had to take John out one final time before she left
Ovbiously, she did a fabulous job:-) I don't know who is going to keep him in line while she is gone
After church we all went to McDonalds for a going away party:-) This is Mary's awesome cone!
Funny how the boys couldn't seem to find their smiles?!
All of us
Stephanie, the awesome girl who took all our orders and also took our picture:-)
All the first year college students! I'm so proud of all of them
Umm... John put on all of our purses!
Something is a little backwards in this picture...
It was a fun night in which we made tons of memories! I will miss you sooooo much Mary; nothing will be the same without you here. Love you girl!!!
